Biography

Jérôme Vernez finished his engineer's study (Bachelor) in February 2004 at the University Of Applied Sciences Of Western Switzerland. He began his career with an internship at CSEM and since he has a research job at the institut of telecommunication (iict) at the School of Business and Engineering of Vaud (HEIG-VD).

His expertise is mainly in telecommunications, computer networks, signal processing, and audio and video. He is also specialized in wireless networks (mainly in IEEE 802.11 and 802.15) and microprocessor programming (MSP430, ARM, CoolRisc).

His main interrests are cinema, science, travelling, photography and video.
